Default Kevin Faulk has no offers from anyone [Update: Turns down Pats' offer]

per the SportsDwarf, aka Chris Collins on CSNE.... kind of surprising Weis in KC or Josh in Denver wouldnt make an offer for him.

Is this the end of the road for #33?

If the Pats can somehow get Sproles I would say Faulk is in trouble....the Pats may also be looking for a fullback late in the draft

Faulk is going to have to have a solid offseason IMO,sad thing to see Kevin getting older

I don't think so and I hope not. I hope he's not getting any offers from them because he and the Pats are hammering out the last details of his new contract. Faulk still has quite a bit left in the tank and needs to be brought back in next season. On top of that, this locker room needs leadership on both sides of ball and if that game against Baltimore should have convinced anyone of anything (aside from the fact that the Pats defense was easily run on last season), it's that Faulk is every bit of that.

I would not want to see Sproles' idea of blocking an oncoming blitzer on third down.

I think Faulk will stay for another year due to lack of leadership but that tank is slowly getting down there....probably still enough for another season...his last I assume

...but no offer from the Pats. This looks like the old BB let them go a year early methodology at work. Remember Willie McGinest not hearing anything before he took the hint? A shame since Faulk still has something in the tank and is a great safety valve for Brady (also can pick up the blitz)

I certainly hope not. Letting Faulk go at this point when he wouldn't break the bank and still has some juice left would be a mistake.

Sproles has a 1st and 3rd round tender. He isn't going anywhere. A lot of teams are going to regret not making an offer for Faulk.

I think in this offense a pass-catching RB like faulk is a must.

Here is how I see things playing out for NE.

1. Faulk re-signs.
2. Faulk re-signs.
3.Faulk r-esigns.
4. We draft someone
5. Sproles

Faulk has 2-3 more years IMO (He played more snaps than any RB last year)

Is westbrook available.?

+1. I pray that Kevin Faulk is on the team this year. He and Brady are the only two bedrock guys still standing from the glory years. And he more than showed last season that he can still flat out play.
