Over a pass rusher?....doubt it. If Spiller is on the board at 15 thats where hes going.

Let's see what Boldin can do when will be counted on as #1 in a more defensive oriented division....no Seahawk, 49ers, Rams creampuff Defenses in AFC

Stick Welker back in Miami and let me see how many 90+ catch seasons he was getting ?

He's also a guy who has missed 3+ games a year the last 3yrs, not a sign of a durable player heading into his 30's.

I haven't heard those radio stations, and the Fins FO is picking not the radio stations. You never know who could fall, there could be someone with a much higher value when they pick. Vince Wilfork wasn't suposse to fall to ........#21-22?

True, as of right now, that is their biggest need on defense.

Boldin was a stud as a ROOKIE, the year BEFORE Fitzy was drafted.

Fitzy is without a doubt a great WR, but Boldin is VVG as well.

Too bad Dansby was at the big contract stage of his career, I always thought he was a good player.
I would have been beyond shocked had the Pats spent $ on him.

I guess drafting BUMS like "I never play cuz I suck" Wheatley,"see the back of my Jersey as I get burned...AGAIN" Wilhiite, and "maybe my knee will let me play by my 4th year" Tate, wasn't good enough,we've got a guy that is giving Matt Millen a run for his $ by drafting a mediocre special teams player and giving him 1st Rd. cake.
Pass rush? Uneccessary when you have 72 CBS playing.
Lbs? What for, we have no pass rush, they gonna chuck it at our lousy CBS...all 72 of them bums

We got a great deal with Vince. I value Vince more than Dansby as a player.
That's how I saw it too. Vince gets a little more guaranteed, so realistically his contract is larger, but he's a far superior player.

So they're not paid for the calibre of player they are (i.e, what they're worth), but they are paid what they're worth (i.e their calibre)?

Creator of the Pats must draft Jason Verrett in 2014 no matter the cost fanclub.
