I know he wanted to be paid as much as a Brinks truck could hold, but I always hated seeing Ty Law leave.

Also people like to say how Deion "cost" us the Super Bowl in 2006. The team scored 34 points in the AFC Championship game, it was just the start of one too many frequent defensive collapses that would come to be.
maybe McGinest?

Loved his production here but Willie McG was past his shelf life. He was SLOOOOW playing for Cleveland.

Daniel Graham.
And although he never played another down in the NFL.....I still to this day believe that Clock Killin' had another season in him and would have helped tremendously with the early growth of Maroney.

If not, add Hugh Milen to my list.
Nothing wrong with this thread but it's somewhat silly as the assumption is that money doesn't matter.
I'd love to have them all back if money wasn't an issue... I find it tough to second guess most of the choices that Belichick has made given some of the offers that guys like Graham, Givens, and Samuel got, not matter how much I'd love them to stay here for reasonable money.
Someone should add up all the salary offers of the guys listed on this thread... if we were in a salary cap year the point would be clear.
That being said, we parted ways with a few guys who wouldn't have broken the bank too, but for the most part, it's been a money issue with most.
