"Manning drops to 9-9 in the postseason with one title, while Brady is 14-4 with 3 rings."
Very sad.

Such back-slapping of Brady is premature to say the least. He showed little of his grace under pressure this season, notwithstanding his come -back from injury, it remains to be seen if he can regain his 2007 composure. IMO, the team, as presently constituted, can't play in the same league with either of the SB opponents today. They are just quicker, stronger, faster, better. The Pats have a long way to go.

``The officials now are evaluating the players and their performance, I mean, that's great,'' Belichick deadpanned. ``I can't say how much that means to me, really.''

OK, and learn what he's talking about.
If both died tonight, Brady would easily be considered better in the postseason. I realize it's a team game, but Manning has choked in ways Brady never has. Brady's game against Baltimore has happened to Manning like 3 times in the postseason, and Brady has never blown a super bowl like that.

But he couldn't drive it across the street against the 25th ranked d in the league? The vikings never played the raiders or the chiefs and they crushed the browns. not sure what your talking about with this post. Your QB isn 't the best of his era he gave that to Tom Brady tonight. sorry that is a fact. non debatable.

You can not take away what Brady has already done. eight years as a starter, 4 superbowls and 3 wins.
Brady is clearly #1 at QB. Brady has 4 super bowl appearances, 4 AFC Titles, 14-4 career playoff record, and hes also done more with less offensive talent. Besides the last 3 years, Brady never had elite options at WR like Manning had with Harrison, Wayne, and Clark. Patriots are also 2-1 in the playoffs vs Manning. The only win Manning had over NE was an epic comeback in which they only won by 4 pts. Brady and the Pats killed the Colts twice at home in the playoffs in 03 and 04.
The bottomline is Brady was two lucky plays (Tyree catch off the helmet in 07 and Reggie Waynes fumble in 06 on the last drive of the game in which the ball landed right in his lap after being in the air forever) away from 5 super bowls! If Wayne didnt recover that fumble in 06, Manning would have zero SBs! I know you could say the same thing about the tuck rule in 01 but 03 and 04 was total domination!
