Default Reiss: TE coach Shane Waldron leaves team

According to Twitter.

He replaced Pete Mangurian, who left for the Bucs last season. He started his career in 2002 as a football operations assistant with the Pats before moving to Notre Dame and back to NE.

That's a big loss, because everyone knows that our offense is built around our tight ends. Just look how productive they are year in and year out! Umm, wait a minute....

Must be the best job EVER.

How the hell can they evaluate tight ends when they never do anything with them?

Up until 1993, I didn't know the nickname 'Patsies' was an insult... that's what I grew up with during the late 80's and early 90's.

Go PATRIOTS!

Read the posts about Watson here and you'll find that message board posters think they can evaluate them just fine.

If Watson isn't with us next season he can blame it on Waldron. If Watson goes elsewhere and plays well, WE can blame it on Waldron. Maybe Waldron was the weak link in our offense this past season. I will be the first to predict that our tight ends, whoever they may be, will flourish in 2010.
