Well if they dont sign a guy like Peppers, get a 3-4 OLB to rush the passer or draft a DE in the first round. They need a bunch of things. They have 4 picks in the first 2 rounds and none of that i believe.

If you can get "three or more" rookies who are good enough to start on this team, that would be a bonanza.

I went for the "draft an upper eschelon pass rusher" as I think that is the most pressing need, but the Pats sure have a lot of work to do looking at this list!

I think the Pats need to add a blue chip playmakers who can make the 2-3 big plays/game that turn games around (as well as the other consistent play) - one on offense and one on defense. The defensive one could be a pass rusher, but could be a stud ILB like Rolando McClain, or a DT/DE like Dan Williams. The most likely offensive playmaker is CJ Spiller. I'm not sure there's anyone else I would go for.

That's two things. We can all make a list; there have been a dozen threads about that and several media articles too. The question is what is the ONE most important thing, in your opinion?

No more so than add 3 instant starters, which was one of your options. If adding 3 starters is an option, why can't adding 2 playmakers be one?

what's all this nonsense about getting a pass rusher as the number 1 priority? that's number 2. you have to protect the franchise...Brady. getting some oline help has to be number 1. did you see what they did to favre last night? they teed off him like a pineta. teams will do the same to brady.

Get brady back to form and spend the off season working with Edelman and Tate.
