What I learned was
A) that no matter how good your offense, you have to take care of the football. 6 fumbles and 2 interceptions is ONE too many. After all, Favre could have walked for ten yards and likely won the game.
B) getting too many defensive backs injured puts you in a position to lose games against Manning and Brees

Yes I understand that it was the great NO defense tha made the difference, giving up only how many yards and points???

Can't really draw conclusions from single games IMO. Jets played pretty well, but the Colts are a better team. The Vikings just fumbled the game away.
Over the long haul, balanced teams with great defenses probably perform better in the playoffs relative to the regular season.
Still doesn't mean a great offense can't get off and bury anybody, but i think great defenses finding a way to stop and disrupt an offense is a playoff staple.
You just can't credit a defense with causing 6 fumbles, that's lack of focus.
