Congratulations, Saints fans. Great job today. Hope you stomp Minnesota/Dallas next week at home. Play like you did today and you'll be in good shape to go all the way. I'll be really pissed if you let one of those 2 teams make it to the SB, or if you let Indy or San Diego win the SB.

pherein - this is definitely THE Saints team we saw earlier in the year - like I said in my previous post, if you guys were 1/2 way healthier, you would have beaten us in wk15, and there would have been another "Why did the Cowboys after anoter Dec swoon?" talk...otherwise, Shockey and Bush would have been in there to block and make plays(as you know, Shockey was a Cowboy killer when he was with the Giants). If we have to play again, I can not imagine Ware having the same monster game.

Whatever adjustments Sean Payton made during the bye week, it obviously worked, and it should carry over into the Saints' next games. Getting that bye in the playoffs is HUGE for that reason - rest and more time to regroup/prepare. And, of course, your D players are healthy now.

BTW - the Saints D looks BETTER WITHOUT Charles Grant - is this guy really the slacker everyone makes him out to be?

Great post pherein, and FWIW I'm rooting for the Saints to win it all. You have a great team, and I bet you guys'll go all the way.

Thanks mayo

WE have never won a NFC Championship, not sure how I would handle that, lol. I was worried when they put that first run on us because our defense finally got 6 starter back today. I was thinking oh no not the curse!

This is only our 2nd time going to the NFC Championships

All I can say is YAAAAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

we are ridicules but havvin fun

Well, we hope you do too. We would root for ANYONE vs Lord Favre (IF the vikes make it that far). It's gonna be especially easy rooting for the Saints. I've said it before, even though you guys blew us out, I'll bet 90% of the guys on this forum would prefer the Saints to win it all over anyone else. Great game against the cards. Good luck!

Ya we were pretty beat up for that game. The Cowboys are a good team, Payton had the Cowboys pick Romo when he was there, so theres no doubt in our minds the boy can play.
Having everyone back was really fun to see for the first time in a month. Greer is just crazy good, happy to see him finally back. We had a rookie Jinkens on austin. Austin killed that poor boy

Did Revis get robbed of DPOY honor? - AFC East Blog - ESPN
Lowest Burn Percentage Among CBs*

Player/Team Percentage
Darrelle Revis, Jets 37.0
Jabari Greer, Saints 37.9
Dwight Lowery, Jets 40.7
Drayton Florence, Bills 45.3
Leon Hall, Bengals 45.3
Lito Sheppard, Jets 45.6
* Minimum 50 targets.

Grant is just playing normal but is payed big money, we all love Hargrove his replacement. Hargrove has had a bad life and Payton gave him a chance to turn things around its a nice story, kid desurves a shot to take Grants place.

Looking good Saints! Reggie Bush runs that hard and physical throughout the playoffs and you'll have yourselves a SB championship.

Really don't want to see the 'Boys, Vikes, 'Bolts or the Colts win the SB....

Boy was that not what everyone was waiting for? Bush just nailed it, north to south, ran as he was drafted to run, just wow. WE belived in this kid for so long and to see a game like this, just wow, but if he fails well still believe , we are N.O. after all. He had a really good day, happy for him.
