Default Could Pete Carroll have turned it around in NE?

This morning on Mike & Mike someone said that Tedy Bruschi said that if Pete Carroll had been granted one more year in New England, he could've turned it around.

I like Pete, and I supported him when a lot of other Pats fans were calling for his head. But I thought the general consensus was that by the end of the '99 season, most of the players had given up on him. I especially remember the game at Philadelphia, everyone said the players didn't seem to give a darn.

Plus there's his record - 10-6, 9-7, 8-8... So am I missing something?

Listening to Mike & Mike in the Morning kills braincells. No, I do not think that Carroll could have turned it around. Not as long as Bledsoe was the quarterback.

why torture yourself like this?

what possible good can come from wondering about Pete the Cleaner's mythical fourth season?

he took a playoff team and ran it into the ground...Booby Grier missed on 29 out of 31 draft picks during that span...I'm just sorry it took Kraft so long to smell the garbage.

Pete Carroll is a pure and simple college coach, he will be out of the nfl in another 3 years... after a 10-6 9-7 and a 7-9 season... Pete Caroll would not have done well here and by the way he did not...

With Bledsoe, NO WAY. What gets me with Bledsoe is he never even tried to get better in the offseason. He ran off to the sticks only to go fishing and didn't give a crap about improving ANYTHING he didn't do well.

On top of that the players had ZERO respect for the guy. I will never forget when Good Ole' Pete called a play near the goaline only to have Meggett wave the players back against his wishes then went on to score the TD on the play they liked better LMAO. Right then and there I knew he was done.

1) As I've said before, when you live in this state BSPN Radio is your only sports option unless you like listening to news about the Packers 24/7.

2) If anyone else had said it, I wouldn't have given it much credence... but Tedy?! Why would Tedy say that? He of all people should have seen the difference in going from Parcells to Carroll to Belichick.

Good lord, the talent void was terrible in BB first year here. Can't you remember all the JAG's that were brought in just to fill holes?
