A huge, unmitigated, absolute disaster. He's not gonna be crying unless he's done, and not having Welker is HUGE. I was of the mind this team was at a point where they were getting to the Super Bowl, and this totally derails that. It sucks and it stinks and it sucks and it sucks.

Now the hit to Hoyer where Pollard launched himself? That was dirtbag.
that was a douche bag move. I really hate that guy, he didn't hurt Welker with a hit but he was there when it happened.

Didn't Harrison go down against Tenn in a meaningless game too? This horrendous bad luck gives that gutless Polian something to point to as well.

It's pretty obvious Wes is done for the playoffs. It's too bad really because there was ZERO reason Wes needed to play today. That little guy takes a pounding all year long and no doubt a day off would have been very benificial for him heading into the playoffs. Same for Moss who we've been told has had a bad back and same for Tom Brady who's had numerous injuries. Why Belichick refuses to protect his key players is beyond me. Just ridiculous!!! Can someone/anyone tell me what the point of playing Tom Brady for a quarter and a 1/2 was??

Not after you see him leave his feet and attempt a cheapshot at Brian Hoyer.

Obviously he didn't hurt Welker, but makes you wonder about last year after seeing what he did to Hoyer.

Is there really a 0% likelihood that Welker's injury is something less than an MCL? I know it doesn't look good, but then again remember in '08 when Bruschi suffered a bad knee injury and was back in a week or two? When we learned he was called Gumby?

well geez isnt it easy to call it a bad move in hindsight. Pats played a great game against Jax and wanted to keep it going. Don't be one to say it was a terrible call after the fact, because I'm sure you werent pounding your fists at it.

I think you're overreacting. I love Welker as a football player and a Patriot. However this is a team sport. And perhaps Edelman will step up his game. The Tight ends have certainly been more involved.

I'm guessing ACL by the way it buckled.
