Maybe they can get the other James Brown to replace him.

Aw man that sucks. I hate James Brown, in fact I hate all the Fox crew.

Oh well, I don't watch the CBS pre game show much any more, I usually stick with Countdown.

He is replacing Dick Endburg. Dan Dierdorf and Gumbel will be the #2 team at CBS.

That's what I was wondering. Mabey he went back out into the field to broadcast games! (that's what he used to do before he and jim nance switched places last year)

If he is it probably isn't with CBS or atleast for much longer. He is p!ssed about the move and made it clear in the statements he made.

here is the what PFT.com wrote

Brown's arrival at CBS bounces Greg Gumbel and the pet rat that sleeps on top of his head to the No. 2 broadcast team, with once-upon-a-time Monday night booth guy Dan Dierdorf. The move displaces Dick Enberg, who wasn't happy about it. Not one bit.

"I was shocked when I got the call," Enberg told The New York Times. "I still regard myself as being very strong on football, and I think we had a great season. I can't accept that my work is any less than it was in the past. I feel I story-tell as well as anyone. I won't take this as a defeat." (Yeah, but the rest of the world will.)
