Default Your opinion of Kevin Faulk saying the Patriots are vulnerable

This seems a little concerning to me

It used to be that opposing teams thought they saw a chink in the Patriots armor in one particular area and tried to beat them where they thought the Patriots was allegedly vulnerable only to be fooled later when they played them but now we have leaders like Kevin Faulk saying the team is vulnerable.

Maybe its me but to me that sounds like at least Kevin is lacking a bit of confidence in his team in regards to winning...players who say thier team is vulnerable in a media quote are either trying to BS the media or really feels that way.

If there are others who feel the same way on the team that this team is vulnerable and could be beaten, then how will the team get the confidence to go into the playoffs?.

To me, a team going into the playoffs better have the whole team with 100% confidence they can get to where they want to go or you will be done quickly.

I wonder how many players on this team doubt that and think they are vulnerable? - We need some swagger and a little c0ckyness instilled very soon or the team goes one and done.

It's player speak. I think he didn't want to sound like the over-confident Steelers do every year saying they are unbeatable. Then when they lose in the playoffs the Steelers claim "The best team didn't win".

I think he was just stating the obvious. They say they need to look in the mirror, and play better. What do they see in the mirror ? A team that can't win on the road. Until they do that, they are vulnerable indeed.

I still have never heard the "V" word used in NE in this decade...and that was even in subpar years like 02,05 & 06.

It worries me.

I am hoping for a 100% confident team in January with every player playing like its thier last day on earth...

Can it be done? yes
Will it be done?...to be continued...

Every team has its vulnerability. That is a glimpse at the obvious. The issue for opponents is to find the vulnerable spot and have the ability to exploit it. #33 stating that to the media isn't like handing over our playbook and our exact injuries to the opponent. It could be a subtle call out to his teammates that the team is vulnerable and it has to work harder to minimize that.

A sarcastic Bill Belichick on Tom Brady's finger injury, "It's not life threatening."

If "vulverable" means, able to be beaten by the "vulva" they I would tend to agree.

He's just saying that no one is perfect. Every team has a weakness to work on

Or in the Pats' case a myriad of issues.
