I do not want anyone to ever go 19-0, EVER, unless it's the Patriots. Someone else doing it will only make 07 hurt that much more

But are they out there talking %$#@! this year at all? It sure seems like they're being quiet. Maybe the Pats having a perfect regular season changed things for them and they'll only get vocal in the playoffs. Or did the media just seek them out more in 2007 because it was the Pats, and the Pats are the tail wagging the NFL dog?

I just want some other team to go 16-0 so the Pats can take down that El Lame-o banner.

Also, Mercury Morris was on Sports-Center last night and has an article about him in the Miami Herald today.
how can you advise someone to lose a game.? I think this is one of the hidden ripoffs of the NFL where teams lose deciding fate of other playoff teams.
I know once in cricket a few yrs ago australia purposefully threw a game or played slowly so that new zealand didnt get in. Lot of criticisms went for that.
Shouldnt there be some rule regarding this ? I know they have earned it but still....

I don't either, but I guarantee another SB win for us will make the memory of SB42 go away real fast. As much as we all got caught up in the hype of the perfect season, we were ultimately shown what a shallow goal that is if you end up losing the big one.
Mercury Morris and Don Shula kind of remind me of a certain Senator from Conn.--people whose time has passed and who can only take comfort when the limelight does occasionally come their way, allowing them to gleefully rub peope's noses in that fact.

They key statement being if you lose. Had we gone 19-0, just think of the immortality!
Re: How Come We're Not Hearing From the '72 Dolphins This Year?
I've come to the point where I don't care what other teams do. I only care what our team does. Do you really want to root for the other team to do poorly so yours looks better by comparison?
To a larger point, I think there is something wrong with the NFL where in a two year span there are three teams with a decent shot at going 19-0. The league has become too QB focused.
