Default Wild card game likely to be a rematch

If the Pats do win the division, the wild card game will likely be a rematch.

By the end of the season, the Pats will have played the wild card contender currently 8-5, the three teams currently 7-6, and two of the three teams now 6-7. (Pitt is the other.)

Two of those games, by the way, are yet to come.

I think it'll be the Broncos or the Ravens. And neither of those teams scare me with the game in Foxboro.

Let's just hope the Pats can finish strong and win the division.

Beating the Ravens in the playoffs would be sweet because I hate that team, but the Broncos would be an easier matchup imo

We beat the Ravens, we lost to the Broncos, Marshall just had 21 catches for 200 yards and 2 TDs now put that guy up against a now deflated secondary. Ravens strong point is the run, our strong point is our run defense.

except we get the broncos at home, which is a big difference from playing them on the road. they own us in Denver but at home I think we could win. then we would probably have to play Indy on the road again which could again be an intriguing matchup.

I know BB aint having his best year, but I still like my chances when he faces a team twice.

I'd rather see just about anyone other than the Broncos. History does not favor the pats in this matchup.

Baltimore came to Foxboro, Patriots went to the Broncos.

Big difference.

I'd rather play the Ravens. It's not even close for me. The Broncos defense basically shut us down in that game; they have the talent in the secondary to double Moss and Welker and take away our other receivers. I also don't think our defense could contain Denver's wideouts. Wouldn't matter to me if it was home or away.

The Ravens on the other hand don't scare me at all. Their best player is Ray Rice and it's a big drop after that.
