I think there's a good chance that Moss' back is really hurting him. But in keeping with Belichick's philosophy on (not) disclosing injuries in order to prevent the opponent from being better able to game plan, Moss and the rest of the team has said nothing about it. Bottom line result is the same (not making key catches), but perhaps there is more to this 'lack of effort' that everyone is jumping on.


As for the Carolina players, I think it's pathetic that a team that just got beat pretty soundly is talking like this. If what they say is true, then how come they still lost by 10, controlling the ball for nine less minutes than the Pats?
