Based upon that article yes. They did not research to see that it was in fact on SKY rather than BBC, they use England while Cardiff was also mentioned as well as Glasgow in the same live phone call which both outside of England and the game being broadcast was Chargers at Dallas. Which to me seems poor reporting.

I did take the time to read the whole article even the ridiculous bits about a possible overseas franchise. Alistair Kirkwood Is also the NFL and was the man who announced all of the details of the last game. He is a a very good source he is not just someone picked up off the street.

In fairness Kirkwood did appear on BBC radio as well, who were covering the Redskins/Raiders game.

Fwiw Kirkwood's on another station over here now, Five (who show Sunday Night Football), and is again 'confirming' there'll be two games. Both in London, but he'd only say Wembley was the favourite (rather than saying it was a cert), which I guess maybe opens up the possibility of Twickenham.

I think if Kirkwood's saying it, it's gonna happen - would be a massive loss of credibility for him and NFL UK if it didn't now. Probably just crossed wires between NFL UK and the NFL, or maybe even PFT screwing up (wouldn't be a surprise).

Just pointing out for future information, you are using "inter" as if it has the exact opposite meaning it actually has. Inter-divisional means means "between teams in different divisions", Intra-divisional means "between teams in the same division".

Twickenham has got to be the other stadium, it just has to be. I'm all for Old Trafford though, ***** their field up for them

Are we sure that the games will only be in the UK? It would make sense because the UK is the only region that cares, but the Meazza and the Camp Nou are pretty massive stadia. I can't imagine that they'd want the turf torn up at either of those places though (even though the San Siro's pitch is god awful by November anyway).

I would have thought Anfield had the room behind each goal to expand a few meters. The problem with most of those stadia is that they are so compact.

i would simply LOVE an Nfl game in San Siro/Meazza (Milan) but i do not think it will happens...

pity as it is only 45 minutes from where i live...

but i think NFL should rotate in Europe and i think next country should be Germany but nothing contrary it will be Italy...of course...
