Re: Pats Inactives: Thomas, Taylor, Neal, Aiken, Pryor, Wheatley, Ohrnberger
From the tweet itself, 2 minutes ago:
# Today's Patriots inactives are Taylor, Wheatley, Ohrnberger, Neal, Aiken, Pryor, Brace and Thomas.
Edelman is the #3 option, Stanback is the #4. I'm fine with that. I don't know what Wheatley's problem is, and Ron Brace must be having real problems adjusting to the NFL. I thought that pick was stupid with the defensive line as stacked as it was--and with Rey Maualuga still available. Maualuga reminds me of Bruschi.

Again, that was the second tweet. The first did not include Brace.
Re: Pats Inactives: Thomas, Taylor, Neal, Aiken, Pryor, Wheatley, Ohrnberger
So the 3rd WR this week is Stanbeck... Not sure why Edleman is the #3 since it limits him to the 4th quarter unless total disaster strikes...
My concerns for The Franchise emanating from 2006 on and only underscored down the stretch in 2007 are coming to fruition, and that really disappoints me. He needed better weapons, not necessarily a top tier WR on the back 9, and most of all he needed to be protected from cumulative abuse. If anything over the last couple of seasons the level of abuse has gotten worse instead of better.
Re: Pats Inactives: Thomas, Taylor, Neal, Aiken, Pryor, Wheatley, Ohrnberger
I would expect to see the Pats run the ball a little more than usual today, with Carolinas poor run defense and Bradys health. As well as lacking depth at WR

Sorry. The initial post here made it seem like Edelman was the emergency QB option only.
