I sincerely hope so, but even if he could not, the running game can be good, with Morris and the return of Taylor i think that is difficult for Lawrcence to have as many carries as he had in this past games.

Im in favor of anyone running the ball for any yards, at this point. Just to clarify, i mean for the whole game, not just the first half

no now that sammy morris is back the pats wont give him more then 10 att a game

tha pats dont run the ball more then 20 times a game

so faulk will get about 5 att on drews and morris and maroney will get the other 7 or 8 att each

He will last week we saw brady go back to the center and return of the 2 TE based offence. As this OL gets healthy we will get to a more running sets to keep the balance and ofcourse create play action pass.

He'd need over 275 yards in the last 4 games, which is right around 70 yards per game. Personally, I hope he does it because he's been running well and should be given a decent amount of carries each week. My gut tells me he'll get it. I think he's got at least one 100 yard game in him over the final 4, which would obviously help out a lot.

I voted yes but I changed my mind

I think he is capable but with Morris back I doubt he'll see the ball enough

I hope so, but I voted no.

Nothing against Maroney. The last few games his running has been exactly what I hoped for. But remember, our current offensive playcalling (and I mean 'offensive' in every sense of the word). Even if Maroney is cutting through opposing D's like butter he'll be platooned with other backs at random times and we'll probably be in the shotgun 75% of the time, running draws when Brady isn't forcing the ball into double coverage because only two WRs we're sent on routes.

No. He needs to average 68.75 yards per game for the rest of the season. That's not going to happen with Sammy Morris back and Fred Taylor coming back.

Unless I counted the years wrong, he's playing for a new contract. He will do anything in his power to get as many yards as he can. I'm sure he feels that he has proven himself enough this year to get more carries than Morris. So, yes I believe he will.
