Wow, that's a month worth of televised games you can watch from your couch with a better angle...

Course I live hundreds of miles away, so maybe my view of it all is skewed...

You can spend a lot less and take the train ($10 I believe), but you run the risk of arriving near or after kickoff...

This offseason, it's almost like Belichick is saying, "I'm never going to let that happen again."

This has been going on since before PP opened up. It's greed, pure and simple. Used to be that the small outlying private lots charged less than the stadium lots, but no longer. I use an outlying private lot because it's easier/quicker to get in and out and it's a nice place to tailgate. Back when I started using it in 1994, they charged $10. Now, $40. PP hasn't changed the cost of parking.

They charge $40 - $50 for summer concerts as well. The tickets for Gillette Stadium events typically sell well, so they charge you to park since there are almost no alternatives to get to the game aside from the game train (not applicable for concerts). It's part of the cost of buying tickets that many infrequent visitors forget about until they are in line to pay.

Carpooling is your best bet.

I'd rather watch it from home, the seats are better.

Heck, even if you go with one other person, it's $20. Should you really go to a pro-football game expecting to spend <$40 (minus tickets)?
Yes, you should.
