Default You know things aren't right when...

On the Patriots website one of their top stories is that Julius Peppers has missed practice and listed as questionable for a game you aren't even in.

Sigh... I can't believe we aren't playing this Sunday!

I'm with you man, I still can't get it through my head.

Fans of other teams have really jumped at the chance to rub it in, but they don't realize that the depth of this low only comes with the extreme height of our prior success. So really, this empty feeling only makes me appreciate the last four years even more, and makes me realize how frigging great we have been for so long. So all those fans of other teams can scoff, but I know our franchise is still the cream of the league, even with what happened in Denver.

Denver? Aren't they currently 29 million over the cap? Shanny likes his little spurts to prominence.

Are they really? Or are you just making fun of what happened a few years back?

I hate to whine more, because its getting quite hackneyed. However, as others have said, its not the fact that we're not playing this weekend. Rather, its how we went down.

So frustrating..

Talking Unhappy but Sanguine

You said you were unhappy how it went down.

Well I really would have prefered to win but...

I didn't wan't to get undressed like the Colts did to us 40-21;
Or even playing half a good game, such as the Defense playing great and the Offense impotent.
Or the Offense in a shootout and the Defense unable to stop anybody.

That's not what happened.

The Offense dominated 480 yards of Offense but screwed up, I grant;
The Defense dominated. Gave up scores only on "marches" of 1,1, 15 and 24 yards.
The breaks went against them but they maintained "poise";
They never surrendered and quit...

I'm sanguine that they are 'competitive' with the Broncos; payback will come next season at the Razor!
