Default Jason Taylor not ready to retire, considering the Patriots again next season

Taylor leaves door open when it comes to Pats - Football - MiamiHerald.com

I was not overly dissapointed that Jason didn't sign here this year and I certainly don't think he is worth another look as he gets another year older next year and another year slower.

If I were BB and Jason called me in March I would tell him to fu(k off and go back to your Doofins who were home for the 2009 Playoffs when you could have been a part of the postseason (and hopefully a SB triumph) a few months ago had you chosen the RIGHT team to join.

Was Jason Taylor an upgrade over the Invisible Man known in the LB roster as Derrick Burgess?..no doubt, but then again who isn't?

Was Jason worth getting yourself aggravated over of his decision to go back to the Dolphins and not come here?...certainly not

I was disapointed that Taylor joined the Dolphins over the Pats. And I am more so now. Taylor is not the Taylor of old, but he still is a decent pass rusher (6.5 sacks) and could have been a big upgrade over any of the Pats OLBs right now.

If he is willing to come to the Pats next year for cheap money or there is no cap and the Pats aren't hindered by the top 8 team rules, then I will be all for it. If that is all the Pats do to improve their pass rush, then I am against it. But adding him along with another free agent or two (Peppers if he is an UFA or even Merriman although he ain't my first choice) and a draft pick or three would be a good thing in my book.

Even acknowledging the possibility of signing with your hated divisional rival the week before a game against them would piss me off as a Dolphins fan.

Oh, screw him. He had a perfect opportunity to join the gang this year but settled for the Doofins. Now he's wasting another year of his career on a team that won't have a shot at getting him a ring.

Yes, I'm bitter. This defense could really use him.

I wanted Taylor on the team this year, along with Fred Taylor, Joey Galloway and Derrick Brooks. He chose to go to the Dolphins when he could have helped make the Patriots defense a Super Bowl contending defense. He should feel free to remain in Miami for the rest of his career.

Jason's pretty good at playing footsie. I'll believe it when he has the Pats' uniform on.

Is Brooks still playing somewhere?

Agreed. I know why he said it, but it just seems stupid to me. At the very least, take a pass on the question and say you're focusing only on beating them.
