Ok, so you aren't allowed to be unhappy with a product unless you know more than the people who create it. Got it.
So you've never complained about government, consumer electronics, a meal or a referee before, yeah? I mean, unless you yourself are a master Statesman, Electrical Engineer, Chef and rules lawyer yourself.

IMO I would make an exceptional OC for the Patriots and lead them to at least 4 more super bowls in the remainder of Brady's career. However I have no desire to coach right now, plus, the NFL just isn't ready for my ideas.

Just see Icy as a jester/clown, it makes things much easier; he gets personally offended and takes every criticism of the team as a direct attack on his Belichick, which is absurd. Icy would rather worship Belichick like a God (and attack perceived infidels) than admit that the coordinators obviously have huge influence based on how different the units look and change the past 10 years, that it's not all Belichick's fault or credit. Belichick is hand-tied by not being able to hire coordinators past a certain salary, so he has to coach up even his own coaches.
The play calling issues aren't in the first 12 plays of the game, so this thread is beyond silly. This team starts games and plays the 1st half well. The longer the game goes on, the more influence on the game is from the coordinators. The performances in the first half of games are more a product of pre-game scouting and pre-game game-planning, which Belichick has much more involvement and input in.
The question should be more what the coordinators should generally stop doing, and doing more:
1. Put Brady under center for more plays, only use shotgun for 3rd and 3+, and other occasions rarely.
2. Involve Watson and Baker more in the passing game, especially off play action and in the red zone.
3. Stop forcing the ball to Welker and Moss all the time.
4. Defensively, switch up the looks more so it's harder for the QB and O-line to identify the blitzer, if we are in man/zone, and what the safeties are doing. Put more linebackers at the line of scrimmage (not only Banta Cain every time) to give the O-line something more to think about. The same way it's transparent/predictable the way we line up on offense, it applies for defense too.

You haven't been reading the latest defensive musings about the Patriots trying to do too much on defense and needing to get back to base formations have you?
All you really want to do now, after your arguments elsewhere leading you to contradictory comment is copy the Saints offense.

I wrote look at how often Sean Peyton puts Drew Brees under center, explained why he does this, and you took that to mean I want to copy their offense?
Wow you are even dumber than I thought, which I didn't think was possible.

No maverick, being dumb is pretending to understand then telling posters on Patsfans you know the reason why Sean Payton puts Drew Brees under center.
