On the bright side, the Pats don't have to face any more undefeated teams in their houses the rest of the way. Jets, Broncos and Colts all fit that category at the time they played.

It's certainly not the end of the world, but I definately mind this loss. I mind the fact that this puts us in a much tougher road through the AFC if Cinci continues winning. And I guess what bothers me most is that we couldn't get 10 yards in 4 plays at a clutch moment and the playcalling. Other than that yeah I guess I'm okay...... :/
Gotta agree w/Dezi. HeyBro, it's one game. If you didn't notice, this game was at Indy. So while it's great to have HFA over them, as unlikely as that seems anyway given the records, it's pretty much still one game.

All three of you don't seem to get the bigger picture. Sure, it's one game, but the Pats have been the Colts ****** since 2005. Especially losing a game where you were up 31-14 in the 4th quarter, scoring 34 points and still lose to the Colts, has to be demoralizing. I wouldn't be surprised if the confidence in the Pats has been completely sucked out of them. In fact, this is the second time the Pats have had a big lead in Indy, only to let it slip because of poor play on both sides of the ball late in the game. Unless the Colts have a meltdown, home field throughout was pretty much locked up with a win against the Pats. In addition, if these two teams meet again, it will probably end up in Indy. Remember, my original comments were a response to Desi saying "I don't mind the loss". Well, no ***** you don't mind the loss! You're not on the team and it doesn't effect you like it does the players. My comments were in defense of how an athlete or team would feel having lost 5 of the last 6 against the Colts. No matter what BS you hear from Belichick and the players, the Colts are clearly in their heads.

Exactly that. Nobody should be demoralized by this loss ( I hate that we've been their b**** too but this was a regular season game and we still lead the division. We'll see them in the playoffs ) but I mind it. I'm not concerned about it necessarily but I definitely mind it for a few reasons. The road going forward just got a little bit tougher.
Hate to say this but i dont mind this loss cuz of few reasons
-Belichick hardly make any bad decision..but when he does(spy gate or this one)
you gonna love rest of the season trust me!
-Colts can have this win..@ Belichick expense..but think about it..next time
when Bill will meet colts..do you think he wont remember allll this (What they're saying - Extra Points - Boston.com) ...and ..and.. have he lost twice with same team?
-So id rather take next win with em...wouldn't you?
-Last but not least...Ravens gonna take care of Colts Winning streak next week and we will take care of Saints!
if you dont mind the pats losing any game your not a pats fan your a pink hat.

Lets focus on Jets After That Saints Etc There NO LOCK that Colts will finish better than us. True they hold tie breaker but once Colts lose a game they trend to lose a couple of more. Yes we had them Sunday nite WE KNOW IT, THEY KNOW IT just scoreboard didn't.

Nobody is in Brady's head.. he's too tough for that.
Yes, I think that Belichick remembers every loss to the colts. The burden has gooton pretty large in the past few years. You may think it is advantage. It is not.

Brady came out just like he did everytime before VS Colts. Funny how nobody mentioned how Brady was hesitant to step into a pass or shy away from throws when rush is coming. Vintage Tom Brady. He's just taken for granted and thats what seperates him from everybody else.
- you don't know how important of a game the Pats blew last night.
Not only did the Pats lose to another AFC team, all of their 3 losses have come from an AFC team. The Colts have taken five out of the last six from the Pats. Collapses like this is going to crush any confidence the Pats had if they have to meet Indy again in the playoffs. If you expect the Pats to be a "super bowl team", they have to win games like this.
who knows. maybe you're right. most of america as well as all of ESPN would certainly agree with you as would, apparently, a lot of people on this board...
but the Giants didn't look much like a "super bowl team" when they went to 9--5 in the middle of December 2007 after losing at home to the Redskins by two scores...all i'm saying is, it's a long season and there's a whole lot of stuff that can and will happen before anybody gets to Miami...
i'm not giving up on the pats and i even like the pats at indy in the playoffs...they didn't finish what they started on Sunday, but they sure knocked the colts around for over three quarters. if we learned anything from 2007, it's that domination and sweet runs only matter if they occur in the final quarter of the final game.
