Default Here's how I have coped

Started drinking at 2 PM.

Got drunk.

Blew off work.

Watched Family Guy on iTunes.

Watched some Simpsons.

Visited Patsfans.com

Actually that one was an anti-coping mechanism.

Got drunk again.

Now it's dinner time.

My plan for later is to get drunk.

As plans go, that's hard to fault.

Have reached the stage where it's pointless trying to sleep any more so now have to stay awake until tonight. My other half is off work as well today but I suspect she's not going to find me particularly great company.

If I keep at my plan I should be able to get some decent pass out/sleep. I feel bad for you that have been up all night.

Might as well just stay drunk right on thru the New Orleans game. Because that'll be the first time we'll get a shot at earning back some respect. God knows we'd better beat the Jets, that's to be highly expected and no real accomplishment. But weve lost alot of respect recently with a loss like this. Beating NO is the nearest win this team can get to earn some of that back. Enjoy your stupor. And be safe.

Who cares about respect. Respect doesn't win ****. Respect didn't win the Rams the Superbowl in '01, nor did it the Pats in '07. What matters is the play on the field. Respect is just something for fans/analysts. Heck, if anything, respect can often be a bad thing. Teams that don't get respect often get over looked. A lot of bad teams have run away with games because a team didn't respect them enough.

This is the year. We put our failures in the past, it's a new year, a new defense. It's time to prove to the league that the Patriots are back and aren't going anywhere and they will be the last ones standing in Feb.
Update: Well that didn't work out as I had planned. Next year baby, next year 19-0 we go. Next year.

Imo, teams that cant run the ball when they need to, PHYSICAL teams that can hold a lead, dont deserve respect. I look forward to the day when we start re-gaining some of that back with the style of play this team used to win titles with.

I feel like our SB winner weren't so respected either. I just want Wins.

I'm staying safe, thanks. Just hanging out at home.

I just checked...there are indeed a couple teams that have lost some games in the regular season and still somehow won the Superbowl. I know it doesn't seem possible.

Oh and I have also been drunk since the game ended.
