LOL. These guys are already so confident that they will win on Sunday. Some of them even say that the Steelers will have more say about homefield advantage than the pats do.

The one real shame about not having the Vinatraitor there . . . imagine what Edelman could do with those short kickoffs of his. . . .

I'm watching the Pat/Colts game from Nov. 2003. There are so many similarities between this game and the one coming up. The whole 2003 season and this season have so many similarites. I'm not a superstitious person at all, but it's interesting.

2003
-Coming off a playoff-less season because Brett Favre blew a game at the end of the year he should have won.
-Bill has a ton of draft picks and uses most of them on making an aging defense young.
-Bill jettisons Lawyer Milloy, a defensive leader of the team.
-Pats start the year with injuries all over the place, forcing them to play those younger players right away.
-Pats start the year slowly, 2-2 out of the gates. Brady looks average, throwing 3 picks in a game against Washington, led by Champ Bailey. People start wondering if the Pats made the right choice in keeping Brady over Bledsoe.
-An AFC West and South team grab all the headlines (KC and Indy).
-Pats win their next game against Tennessee. The never lose again.

-Bill jettisons Richard Seymour, a defensive leader of the team.

-Pats start the year slowly, 3-2 out of the gates. Brady looks average, missing wide-open receivers against NY, then Denver, led by Champ Bailey. People start wondering if the Pats made the right choice in keeping Brady over Cassel.

I'm pretty confident we'll take this. I'm in love with our secondary and I think we can contain pink forehead boy. Defense is much improved and the only worry is our red zone offense which needs to be fixed. The Dome QB will flop like usual when he comes to Foxboro in the playoffs.

cough 7-8 ...............................14-3

IMO key player is Darius Butler

I thought the comments would be a lot worse, it was mild compared to a few years ago. Bck then it was "cheatriots and "belicheat"

Not surprising. I just hope the pats are firing on all cylinders this week, they need to. It just seems like when they win, they played just good enough to do it. Looking back at those two losses really hurt knowing those were games in hand, at least Denver.

And for God's sake, bump Clark at the line. Might as well treat him as a WR anyways.

I like our secondary and no doubt it is much better than the one we had last year, but we shouldn't get overconfident. The Broncos tore us up with the short pass. The Colts are even better at completing short passes than the Broncos. Belichick better have those problems fixed, or it'll be a loss for us on Sunday.

It's not just about containing Dallas Clark. Eddie Royal had his game of the season against the Pats. We can't let that happen with Garcon or Collie.

A Pats win would and will rock, but imagine if it's a Pats blowout win? I'd like to see how fast the Colts fans bolt for the exits...

This offseason, it's almost like Belichick is saying, "I'm never going to let that happen again."

Agreed. Everyone talks about our improved secondary and I agree. However, we also have almost no pass rush. Let Manning sit back there and I don't have a lot of confidence unless we can light up the score board.

Come Sunday around midnight, they might be more worried about the Pats when it comes to the playoffs.
