Please don't bring Meion the loser back, he held the team over the barrel and didn't honor his contract, which in turn cost the Pats a SB win, and gave it to Frankenhead instead.

Agreed. I want to see what he does against the Dolphins pass rush and against the Jesters before I pencil him in as our new LT.

I can honesty say Matt Light is a better LT. Shaquille ONeal has better physical tools, but I wouldn't put him at LT.
It is more than measurables.
Yes, it is a coincidence that he played in the 2 games against the worst opponents.

He got abused because it looked like he tweaked his calf or ankle or something. He was clearly limping for most of the second half.

I was really surprised that we didn't see Levoir.

If you don't think Vollmer will have a nightmare with trying to stop Freeney from Mauling Brady if Light is still out by then, you have more confidence than I do - Vollmer will need help and have his hands full in a few weeks in keeping Freeney's spin move from dominating the left side.

But he has certainly looked good.
If we had a crappy LT, this would be the start of the Vollmer era.
However, we have a Pro Bowl LT so Vollmer has a ways to go to unseat him.

And Light has owned Freeney for years.

It could certainly be the reason. Doesn't change the fact that he was abused by a mediocre d-lineman. It does give him an excuse though.

In a word YES...Though what you said about Volmer's POTENTIAL is true, the VERY brief snapshot of his career thus far, gives us too little.info to make an informed judgment. Using your criteria of 2 games, I might say that Volmer is injury prone and gets too many penalties. Sounds stupid doesn't it. Well to a certain extent so does your overreaction to the fact Volmer didn't suck in his NFL action.

he look's good so far im not sure if he will stay at LT once light come's back

he's first game in the snow its hard for any team to get a good passrush in snow and the bucks have a bad D line

i wanna see how he dose VS porter and taylor 2 smaller faster guy's

but at worst he is the starting RT so he will play when light come's back if it's RT or LT we will see
