They love soccer where sometimes nobody scores. I think they'll be more interested in seeing a good game.

There's only two conclusions for Patriots fans on rookies. They are either a bust or being fitted for their bust in Canton.

BB gets paid by Kraft... not the NFL. He doesn't care about the 31 other teams (haven't we heard that enough ?). I don'T think there is any way he would purposely "allow" points. Tampa will score - not because BB feels they have to - but because they are an NFL team. Take Tenn for example, I mean...
HA! Doesn't Kraft own some footsy team over there? It all ties in. **adjusts tinfoil hat**

No way the NFL or BB or the Pats are going to "allow" points for the "good of the game." If the NFL thought it was that important, they wouldn't send Tampa Bay over.

I don't think high scoring really matters anyways. You're talking about a country that is crazy over soccer, where you're lucky to see 2 goals over 90 minutes.

With the return of Seau I think this defense is jacked, they want to prove they are an elite group. They will love to have consecutive shutouts going into the bye week. Longtime lurker and virgin poster thanks patfans for a lot of info and links over the years.

He thought about it, but didn't pull the trigger.

In a rather odd coincidence, he was apparently thinking of buying Liverpool FC, which will tomorrow be playing Manchester United, which is owned by . . . Tampa Bay Buccaneers owner Malcolm Glazer.

Think BB would listen to such pleas for the "Good of the NFL" ?

Maybe he'll just substitute players a little differently this game.
Patriots blowout wins actually bring in great television numbers.
