How was Baker inept at the block? His job is to block away from Brady. Brady, at the time he threw, didn't have anyone within 3 or 4 yards of him, which looks like a good job. He was not supposed to block for BJGE if that's what you were thinking, BJGE didn't need to go that far, but he did.
The key to that flea-flicker was selling it hard enough. You could see the safeties draw down for the run play, but BJGE sold it so well, he drew the FS further in, and gave Moss the head start he needed.
I don't know if that throw was off the mark. Moss didn't have to alter his speed or stretch for it, and it hit him right in the chest.
