The Bucs are giving up 28 points a game on the average over 6 games to offensive juggernauts like the Redskins, and scoring 14 points on the average against a fairly weak schedule. I saw the pre-game for the Bucs four weeks ago before the Giants game, and one of their biggest supporters (local media) sounded like he couldn't make a credible argument as to how the Bucs might beat the Giants.

I could see the Titans remembering their 13-3 selves and therefore posing a threat. The Bucs have been bad going back into last season, and do not seem to be improving. Short of filling the Patriots water bottles with a fine English stout and getting the entire team liquored up during the game, I would be flat out amazed if the Bucs manage to make this game interesting.

The one player I always feared when the Patriots played Tampa Bay was Mike Alstott who almost always had great games against us,Alstott was a stud FB,The team never really filled his position well after he retired.

Galloway was always a scare to play against when he was 30 years younger - and I always liked the way Warrick Dunn played which was hard nosed running for a little guy.

Better than some fans alienating thier team when they are down - Pats fans would be more likely to jump ship more than most other teams fans if they were to suck in a few years,The more you win,the more spoiled your fans get.
I don't either. The funniest reponses were from those fans who knew that the Bucs didn't stand a chance outside of a miracle.

That miracle would be in the version of turnovers,If the Patriots protect the rock they will not lose but fumbles and interceptions always give the inferior opponent opportunities to win. - Like I said,no turnovers by the Pats and they win by about 21

I agree. Those guys could play (I remember in 2005 the game against the Bucs was a big deal and I was very happy when the Pats thrashed them).

The Bucs were good . . . once upon a time.

Also Firing Gruden who I think is STILL one of the best HCs in the game this decade was beyond stupid and a big mistake.

Guarantee you if Gruden were HC this team would have AT LEAST 1 or 2 wins by now.

It will be nice to see a qb that hands off a zillion times. Haven't seen one of those in a while. I love it when the Pats go up against caretakers, they make my afternoons alot more relaxing.

I kind of laughed, but I'm seriously questioning if the OP on the Bucs board has some sort of mental illness.

I mean, it's one thing to hope for a victory. Or to think you might have a chance (if a million things go your way). But to openly declare victory like that is just...sad.

I really loved the bit about the Pats weakness of covering TEs. Someone ask Tony Gonzalez how easy it was...

So I spend every January and Febuary 40 miles south of Tamper, deep in Bucs country. In past seasons discussing football with the indiginous tribes this is what I get when discussing playoffs, "Bucs aren't in it" and "Brady? Don't like him; he wins too much" Go figuah.
