I tell you what, you have to hunt to the deeper pages of the news organizations for NFL stuff over there (UK). Here is a compilation:

I don’t know how it’d work logistically but it’s a great idea. People in the NFL are mostly just happy to have a job in the NFL. It's definitely an honour. If there was a team here and they wanted me to play for it, I wouldn’t mind it one bit.

"The surprise about Tom is that he is the kind of great guy that you would want as a friend,” said Joey Galloway, the wide receiver who joined the Patriots from the Buccaneers in the close season but was released by New England this week.

Tom Brady ready to parade skills on Wembley hallowed turf - Times Online
Quote:
"I've been to Ladies' Day at Ascot, dressed in a top hat and tails and feeling like a turkey. But I've never been to Wembley. That's the 'Mecca'; what a thrill it is to be going to an institution that is very special to the English people.

Robert Kraft turned off Liverpool bid by football's money war - Telegraph

I think the term you're looking for is 'civilised'. We use a knife and fork down here; wear trousers etc.

It's good.

I absolutely detest the comparisons between Beckham and Brady. Beckham was a good player at his best, indeed a very good player, but he never assumed the mantle of the best player the sport had to offer like Brady has done. He's never been the best player at his position, and he's never been the best player at his club.

The only comparisons to be drawn are off the pitch (field? ), where Beckham has cornered the market in terms of marketability and brand name, although comparing Victoria Beckham and Giselle Bundchen is like comparing a Kia Rio to a Corvette.

Oh my. TFB has only been there for a matter of hours and he's already going all Madonna and trying to sound like a native Brit!

I must say everything I've read so far is extremely positive about the Pats. I wonder if there is a way to get some of England's sportswriters to be contributors to BSPN?!

I can't believe the Globe sent Shanknancy to London to cover the Pats.. that crusty hard-boiled glass-half-empty, old-school journalism bull just won't die.

This only goes to show you how out of touch with the readers, Shanknancy's superiors are. Have they no idea that nobody likes him anymore?

Just saw Mike Reiss, Andy Hart and a lot of other pats on BBC London

The reporter from the BBC at the end seemed pretty excited, and he thinks that sooner or later London will have it's on team.
