It's not him. It's the system.

He's OK for a 6th round pick.

Well... that too. But it's mostly because of the system. Everyone knows that. We could put Verne Troyer in there and he'd probably throw 78 TD passes in a year because of how awesome this system is.

On a serious note, it's always funny having the "system" discussion with a Pats hater. They spew out this garbage that Brady is a system quarterback then, when challenged, they cannot even tell you what the hell it means. I always found it to be the easiest debate to have with a Pats hater.

"He's a system quarterback".

"Oh yeah? What does that even mean? Please explain the system to me"

"He's just a system quarterback. Anybody can succeed in it".

"Yes, but how does the system work and how can does it help Brady be a great passer and throw 50 TDs in a season?"

...no answer, thread falls to page 2.

The system thing is great. If a system can turn ANY QB into a winner (Cassel, 11-5), Bill needs to market that shtuff!

Of course the WHOLE system is one that plays to each players strengths while expecting them to improve. But that should be basic football right there...

Tom Brady does everything imaginable that you'd want a quarterback to do, so I don't know how anyone besides idiotic Patriot haters that could even argue that he's not just a great quarterback, but a legendary quarterback. Brady is amazing.

It is, but not everyone has the talent or intelligence to figure out how to do it..

He was amazing, but this year he's pretty pedestrian.

I think he'll get better as the season moves on. Hope so anyway. I think Moss is tired of being overthrown.
