Galloway is supposed to have speed and NE uses bubble screens to get the ball into the hands of WR's with speed. Looks like we wont be seeing him involved in those types of plays.
Moss also has missed getting both feet in bounds for a TD this year too, It happens, even to the best.

Galloway is a 17+ yards per catch type of player who has excelled in this league for a long time by running post and fly patterns and not by taking 5 yards passes and doing a Wes Welker imitation. For a variety of reasons he has yet to be put into many positions where he's able to best utilize this skill of his. But he will, in due time, starting when Welker gets back to health and takes the underneath reps away from Galloway and allows Galloway to spend his time streaking downfield.

I think time is up for Galloway. He seems a bit intimidated out there and lacks the personality of a wide receiver. 3 weeks of an NFL season is significant time to get on the same page. By this time in 2007 Stallworth was torching the Cleveland Browns for amazing catches and touchdowns. Don't forget Galloway's had a full preseason, an ultra rigorous training camp with numerous film room discussions. He cost this team 14 points and almost the game against the Falcons. That 4th and 10 throw by Brady against the Jets also should have been caught as well by Galloway. Its time to get some new blood in there. Terrence Nunn deserves a chance--let's see what he can do.

Joey Galloway = Bethel Johnson

Fast as hell but has no mechanics to get it done...The only differences are Bethel was much younger and Joey was once decent where Bethel never was.

Nunn needs to join the active roster this week

Time to cut a worthless player like Galloway who is scaring no one in any NFL secondary these days.

Galloway has 689 caree catches and 10,777 yards. Otherwise, they're exactly the same.

Do you guys even read what you write? He's definitely miscast with the type of routes he's assigned, but come on now. Outside of both being members of the human race, there is little common ground with Bethel.

So you're saying that if Welker is back next week, and Brady improves at the same rate from game 3 to 4 as he did from game 2 to 3, we should see Galloway with at least 5 , maybe 6 catches, some for 20+ yeards? Let's hope this is the week!

One was a 7th round QB.

The other is a god-knows how many years veteran.

So, there is a difference.

Nunn is the better option, but where will Galloway go? Do you have plans to trade him or what? You let Galloway go THE GODDAMN JETS will pick him up and have a descent reciever that knows all of our inner workings. The Kevin O'Connell story should have taught you that.

IN any event REX RYAN IS GOING TO EAT OUR OFFENSE

Jets suck.

Rex Ryan is a fat man who will have a heart attack at some point this season when he sees TFB throwing long and deep to Terrence Nunn for a 99 yard TD.

THAT begs the question, Why is Edelman making these catches then?

If Brady is the Brady of old and Welker is back to his old self, then I'd expect Galloway and Brady to connect downfield yes. Maybe not 5 or 6 times a game but enough to cause the defense concern such that they have to possibly assign a secondary defender on Galloway as they protect the deep score. If so, then this would help free-up Moss from constant doubles and help open up the middle of the field for Welker not to mention the seams for Watson and Baker.

I imagine this is the thought process that BB had when he signed Galloway in the first place. Unfortunately, we haven't been able to see any of this plan in place due to Welker's injury and Brady's rustiness.
