Excellent find, Box.

Chris Brown should be mandatory reading for anyone who wants to learn more about the game of football, at any knowledge level.

Welker is the best pure slot receiver I have ever seen. Absolutely impossible to cover him one on one.

Let's put things in perspective:

When Welker's on the field, approximately 1 in 7 Patriots plays are completed passes to him.

I forget who it was, but when the Pats played the Chargers (second game of the 2007 season, I think) Welker stopped, cut and then accelerated so fast the chargers player was faked out of his shoulder pads. Man, what a move Welker put on him!

I find KC Joyner's recent observation particularly amazing: in Welker's first two seasons (with the Dolphins), he was second all-time (to Gale Sayers) in total yardage production.

Guess it's time to stop questioning whether a 2nd round pick was too much to give up for him.

Nope, there are still people complaining about that.
