Default Welker trade looks worse for the Dolphins and better for us

Cold, Hard Football Facts.com: He's a lonely man there in the basement

Wes Welker had the second most all purpose yards in his first three seasons (2004 - 2006) in NFL history, and the Dolphins gave him up for a second and a seventh.

Wow, that's just funny. Check this out, too:

FOOTBALL OUTSIDERS: Football analysis and NFL stats for the Moneyball era - Authors of Football Outsiders Almanac 2009

Among WRs in 2007, not only did Moss absolutely crush the rest of the league, but Welker was #4 for DYAR.

Anybody know who the Dolphins picked with those picks?

Heh, this thread reminds me of Aqua constantly trying to come in here before the 2007 season and tell everyone how the Doofins hosed the Pats on that deal.

Samson Satele was the second round pick. Looked good as a rookie, but then he fell out of favor and got traded to Oakland.

EDIT: Just looked it up, and the 7th was used on Abraham Wright:

Hell of a trade for the Dolphins.

Well you won't like this either. Word is he has had a undisclosed serious injury that is going to cause him to miss week 1 game vs. Bills.

IT was on NFLN as a blurb; yahoo sports is also carrying this, but the funny thing is Yahoo is reporting the Globe as their source and there's nothing in the Globe.

Personally I am hoping its disinformation.

Not to mention the whole "serious injury, miss week 1" part. ?? If its that serious, how come only week one? I hate NFLN, yet i keep watching it
