My guess is the origional post on our line was meant to be a joke.

However, it has now passed into universal NFL truth that our line sucks. Dukes was wailing again about the 2007 Eagles game where the overpowered us into only 31 points.

It's funny over at NFL.com that some clown named Bucky is back on the "aging" defense thing.

Except for the one out of every fifteen or so pass plays, where either Light or Kazcur gets turnstiled and somebody gets a killshot on Brady. Other than that Mr. Brady, how was the play of the offensive line?

For just about every other team in the NFL, the offensive line is trying to get used to new starters, new offensive systems, new coaches, new quarterback, etc. This line has been together for four years, with the same scheme, the same head coach, the same QB, and the same o-line coach. And Brady's getting beaten up.

If the pass-pro doesn't get any better, he'll be on IR by the middle of October.

WTF are you smoking? Did you steal Rickey Williams stash?? Seriously did you?

Seriously, whatever you are on, you need to smoke something different.

The Pats O-line has not been the same over the past 4 years. Nor has the blocking scheme been the same. Instead of making ***** up, you might want to check your facts... Neal has missed significant time at RG. Kaczur and Light have both missed time as well.

Brady has been hit twice in this pre-season. One of which he said was his own fault. That doesn't work out to 1 in 15.. That is 1 in 21. And if you bothered to look at the season, you'd see that actually better than the number of hits he takes in a season.

Some people just want to whine and complain about every little perceived problem whether its true or not.

WRT to the statement that these guys have missed a lot of games, here it is from 2005-2008: 5 players, 16 games for a total of 80 player-games for 72,70,67,61,77

2008: 73/80 (91%)
2007: 70/80 (88%)
2006: 72/80 (90%)
2005: 58/80 (73%) (Light's knee, Koppen's shoulder)

These guys have played a lot of games together the past four years, probably more than just about any other team. All are 30 or older, except for Mankins, who is 27. In the NFL, if you're not getting better, you're getting worse. Can you honestly say this line is better than it was in 2007?

Now how many of those games did they play together? That's what you're talking about, and your point doesn't address that.

Also, in addition to getting better and getting worse, you can also simply be staying good. Have fun freaking out whenever Brady gets hit, though- I'd rather understand that he's a professional football player and football players get hit.
