Fair point, although it also makes your post about him being a bust invalid.

Correct, except they moved up to #5 overall to get Sanchez. And Coleman(DE) was a starter

The cheapest move up to #5 ever, I think.

To say a guy has IT in the preseason is a ****** joke. He very well may have "it" but lets wait until he wins a big game, eh?

True...but I did watch every game he played at SC...potential to eventually be good...but came out too early. We will see. I love the way though after what, 3 pre-season games he is the second coming and has "IT"? Jet fans AND the media ought to wait until about game 6 or 7 before crowning him. I know Jet fans have waited a long, long time...but they say this every year with every draft pick or signing...(see Brett Favre)...

Looks like the Jets are on their way to another pre-season championship. We have to talk dynasty now.

I saw his first two games. From what I saw, he looked to have promise but still lacked a lot of the fundamentals. I still think he will struggle when teams start to gameplan to get in his head. He could be a great QB one day, but I think he might struggle this year.

I think he is going to be a very good QB. It's a shame he doesn't have much
to throw to (oh wait, did I say that?)

What stats and Jet's win/loss record would have to be compiled in order for the Patriots fans on this forums to say he had a good year as a rookie?

8-8 would be promising, I'd call 10-6 or above very good for a rook. Especially in NY.

The media is hyping him (especially ESPN) because he plays for the Jets...the biggest media market in the country. Wait until the Dirty Sanchez faces real game planning from Belichick and the rest of the NFL coaches...

Dude, I live in So Cal too! What up? I've watched the only year of him starting and your right, he's not ready for the NFL. How do you play one year of college football and think you can play in the NFL? Despite his big numbers, I really wasn't impressed. Like the last three QB's that have come out of USC, their arm strength is weak and struggle against the blitz. In addition, Leinart, Booty and Sanchez had a tendency to start games very slow early on but explode in the second half. Sanchez will find out the hard way that he won't have the luxury of starting games slow like he did in college. I find it funny how people think that Sanchez is going to do anything with Jericho Cotchery and some guy named Chansi Stuckey at WR. When Sanchez lights it up in a real game, come talk to me.
