Which LB make the roster? Does Alexander have a shot?

We'll all find out in a couple weeks, but I think you may be overemphasizing the use of the 4-3 in your roster predictions - specifically that now there will automatically be five OLB spots and only 3 ILB spots. In addition those backup roster spots have as much to with special teams play, sub packages and versatility as they do with the original position.
While Ninkovich is intriguing because of his ability to play DE and LS as well as OLB, he may be destined for the PS due to his competition. Lenon has a good shot with his combination of skills to play ILB and ST. Tank Williams probably has the least chances to make that group despite being groomed for that hybrid SS/LB role for two years. Ciurciu, like Izzo, will only make this team due to special teams - and there appears to be plenty of competition for guys who are primarily ST players this year.
That leaves TBC, Woods and Crable, all of whom are viewed differently now that Burgess is with the Pats. Alexander does have enough versatility that it may be premature to write him off yet. I would not be shocked in the least if Alexander makes this team.
