Right, like the first place you'd hear about it would be here. Sirens would be going off in cities and even if it was here, the thread title would be something like "DOWN GOES BRADY! DOWN GOES BRADY!"

No joke but that happened to me sort of. I was the head coach of grade 8 middle school team in the playoffs. In the 4th quarter our 1st and 2nd string QB's get injured on successive plays. My OC yells out on the sideline "What do we do now?". Not very encouraging to all of us. Let's just say that our center became our defacto QB. We moved our guard over to center and he would snap it to our center (now QB) who would plow ahead for big yards.

The Onion's been on my doo-doo list ever since a couple of things it put out during Spygate, but I'll admit that the line about Moss being cool with it as long as the ball "rolls in his direction" was funny.

My next reaction is that "I didn't know that Brady threw with his knee."

My third reaction is that some folks here are gonna have to take some serious meds (or imbibe significant quantities of adult beverages) before they watch Tommy's first game with "live" hits coming his way. I suspect we'll all be, genuinely, "hushed" as we wait for him to shake them off and jog off the field without a limp.
