Anyone know where were the browns in King's rankings at the end of the year?

Has Mangini really pushed them backwards?

King only ranks the top 15, I'm pretty sure.

happy to see so many people have high hopes for the pats this season... but really. off-season rankings are worthless.
So true, but I still like seeing the Pats so high on everyone's lists. It wasn't that many years ago that the Pats weren't even in the top 1/2 of these rankings. Now we are right up there every year. It's nice to be relevant in the NFL!

IMO, Steelers should be ranked #1. They are the defending champs and will be tough to beat this season.

i think so too.i heard him on the dan patrick show today and he says nothing has changed in the pats of 2007 and this team with brady coming back so they will good. well..we dont have vrabel, harrison, samuel, hobbs -as good or bad as they were.so his logic is flawed.
plus if the pats were the champs and the colts were ranked #1(which happened sometimes during those yrs) then we would be screaming "no respect".
i guess the media has given up forecasting doom and gloom for the pats after their offseason subtractions and now are going the other way.

From 2001-2006, no one gave the Pats respect and not many put them in the top 10 during the post draft periods.

Finally after 6 years of the Pats obliterating the NFL competition, the idiots finally realized that maybe this team is pretty good, but only did so until the Pats made a "sexy" player acquisition in Moss. At least Peter King is grasping this very complicated concept. Give him credit

I didn't read the whole thing, so I probably missed something. But didn't he say top 20 statistical seasons? Not THE best in the last 20 years, but in the top 20 seasons all time. If so, then Brady and Manning are 1 and 2, and that leaves 18 spots for him to possibly be correct.

King's a junk journalist and doesn't have freaking clue. The Pats must automatically suck since PK says they're #1.

Trust me, I discovered this logic here, though I guess sometimes it's applied selectively...

Different season - Different rankings.

I'll never understand the entitlement that the Super Bowl winner gets in the next season. They can loose their entire offensive line and have a horrible draft and we still have to choose them as the no. 1 team based on what they did last year?

I don't get it - Help me understand this thinking. If it's respect, that's not fact based.

I think the head coach of the Steelers said it best when asked about next year hours after winning the Super Bowl - Mike Tomlin doesn't believe in repeats. In today's NFL, Tomlin says there can be no such thing because no two teams are exactly the same.
