yeah i know what you're saying but i mean look at the 3 seasons he's been here. his first season he split the rock with dillion so he wasn't a feature back. his 2nd year he was barely used until the weather started affecting the games. the Pats were so pass happy the first part of the year but maroney came up big late in the season and in the playoffs. this year he was hurt early on and missed basically the whole year.
so i mean people are going to call him a bust, but i don't think he's been given enough of a chance. i could be wrong, but i think this is the year that he really steps up especially with the competition there will be in camp with taylor and morris.[/QUOTE]
I think it has to do with style of running. He is always trying to break it to the outside like that's gonna get him further down the field. But truth is, I don't think he's ever had a HUGE run before. Most of his success is in the screen because the field is more open, which even though that fits us, I think any JAG RB can do well in our screen plays.
