Except that Kosar was way past his prime and a local hero whereas Cutler has a career losing record everywhere he's been and hasn't done squat in Denver

The Peter King tidbit came from someone in the Broncos office, which shows this is getting uglier by the minute.

Good stuff.

Love it.

This is not the best way for a new HC to make himself feel welcome by fans. Especially a coach replacing a legend in Denver.

I just think it was handled badly.

The worst part of the handling was the timing - if JM really wanted Matt Cassel, why the heck did he wait several days to put it out there, in all likelihood knowing BB wanted to deal Cassel fast to free up cap room? I still wonder if Denver was ever really interested, or whether the Bucs and/or Lions were the driving force. Interesting that Cutler asked for a trade earlier on. He is a complete doofus - be careful what you ask for Jake. Why is the situation so bad there with him?

How is Cutler a crybaby? I don't blame him for being a little concerned about his job.

I do not get it either. But, I am not sure I recall hearing anything bad when Shanahan was there. I think Shanny loved the guy. Cutler was shocked he was fired.

I have seen many Denver fans complaining about how McDaniels is trying to turn them into the Patriots when they are clearly not the Patriots lol.

I'm not surprised, it's just more lack of judgment and situational awareness from Josh McDaniels. By the way, if it wasn't already more clear I am ecstatic he's gone and think our chances of a championship just went up by a lot.

A HC whose objective is to make himself feel welcome by the fans is a loser.

A HC's only responsibility is to build the best team possible and win the most games. If fans and media don't like it, so friggin' what?

No, the Patriots are perenial winners. Broncos are losers. Cutler isn't even a .500 QB

I doubt the Denver fans are complaining that McDaniels is trying to get them into the playoffs. Not that it will work. McDaniels isn't that good a coach and the Broncos under Cutler are the choke artists of the decade. Even with the gift game from Hoculi, and with a three game lead in the division with three games to go, cutler & co managed to choke away the season.

Damn, Cutler is a loser. Grow the hell up, kid.

P.S. He perpetually looks and acts stoned. I like that he compares himself to Peyton Manning, too. That part was good.
