Default If we got #1 pick for Cassel - what would BB do?

Supposed we got the Chiefs/Viking's # 1 for him ; what would we do?
Is their a Stud player you think BB would want or would he trade down.
Can we afford to sign two # 1's?
What would you like to see us do.
thanks

BB would look to get Aaron Curry to pair inside with Mayo.

Trade it for an established player and future draft picks.

See what's there with the second #1, and likely trade it for future picks. But, frankly, the real answer is..."whatever's best for the football team" and "something not beholden to any 'pattern' he's ever displayed before."

There's no way we're getting the Chiefs #1.

First of all there is a huge difference between the Chiefs pick at #3 and the Vikes pick at #22.

Essentially you could sign four guys at #22 for what the #3 pick would cost.
(2007)
#3 = 5yrs - $42.50M - $8.50M ave cap #

#22 = 5yrs - $9.20M - $1.84M ave cap#

They would try to trade back out of the #3, if they could get down to the 10-12 range the money drops drastically.

They would probably make the pick at #22. A lot of juniors coming out this year, next years draft could be weaker than most.
