Default The Brett Favre appreciation thread...

The man is an icon.

Doesn't he deserve to have his final game of the season be a win at home at the Meadowlands?

Go Brett! We love you.

Talk about a dilemma.

If this game meant nothing, I'd be rooting for the fish and the rejected Penny.

I think I better just watch the Ravens game.

I look at like I'm rooting for the Fish to lose not the Jets to win. I'd rather add another AFC East Division title to the mantle and host a game, either the Jets or Ravens, rather than go on the road to Miami. It will be difficult to beat the Ravens at home but it will also be difficult to beat Miami twice, in their place, in the span of 6 weeks. In the end I'm happy to get into the playoffs any way possible.

I hope Favre throws 5 TDs, has the best regular season game for a QB in the history of the NFL, replaces Elway as new the comeback kid, makes Dan Fouts look like and dink and dunk QB, or just hands-off and watches Leon Washington pull a Willis McGahee-vs.-the Cowboys all day long....

Brett, I was particularly thankful how on week 17 of the 2002 season, seeing you belly laughing on the Packer sideline at the Meadowlands, after pathetically tanking the critical finale versus Jets, thus gift wrapping the remaining playoff spot to Jets. Favre, smirk-smiling, seemed delighted that his non-effort denied Brady and the World Champs a chance to repeat.

Brett Favre: Greatest QB of all-time or Greatest Human Being of all time?

I support Brett and the Jets 100%.

I want this game to end in a 2-2 tie. I want Favre to throw six interceptions, all in the red zone. I'm sick of that media whore.
