Default So with Rosey back how much of an upgrade will the pass rush be?

I'm hoping he still has something left in the tank. Imagine if he's still got a lot left, and we get Thomas back Teams then might fear the NE pass rush!

I think it's one of those things where it's going to be all or nothing. If he is really out of game shape and doesn't make an impact, then obviously the pass rush will be status quo.

IF he returns to what he was doing before the injury last year, that not only adds a premier pass rusher, but may open things up for Vrabel on the other side which would improve his production.

It will either improve our situation a lot or not at all IMO.

I doubt he will be impactful, since he wasn't signed by anyone all season. The only reason I think he was brought back is because of what's available, he has the advantage of knowing the system.

I think he was an emergency signing and fell just ahead of Junior Seau

I expect little if any impact from him since no other team thought he had anything left

Maybe if he is still around by next season he may return in more form but I see more rust on the fender than a shiny waxed finish in 2008

No real impact, he'll probably be used to spell Guyton and Vrabel, we'll have to see if they use him on passing downs as a straight pass rusher or run downs to keep Guyton fresh for the Nickel packages.

That's what we should expect really.

Which means our best and brightest will be screaming for his head because he doesn't have six sacks against Seattle.

Sadly, imagine he goes in like a freak and GETS two or three sacks. Then we can listen to screaming about why didn't they sign him earlier.

In his PC today, BB said standard procedure was some minor physical drills and sometimes if a player wasn't ready they would make suggestions for future consideration. I also saw somewhere today that they had spoken to Rosie already this year. Perhaps he just needed to do some at-home conditioning. Toss in a Linebacker emergency, and heeeeeeeeeere's ROSIE!
