Default 5 WRs against Pats D

How come teams playing against the Pats have not gone five wide against them? Pass Defense is the biggest weakness of the team, yet teams just don't seem to want to test the Pats that way.

That's a good question, especially after seeing how well the "pick" plays have worked against this D.

One theory:

If you don't block him, Vrabel will look like an All-Pro pass rusher again.

The Pats did it before Moss and Welker. With Gafney and Reche.

Agreed, most teams don't have the line the Pats have....nor the QB to make the reads....
