Well, I feel pretty confident! I mean, historically, your boys have our number. So, I always love/dread this game when it comes around. However, if ever there was a year to feel confident, I think this is it. Our Defense has been playing very well this year, and with your issues in the secondary, Ben and the O may have enough fire power to get a W this year. Should be a great game for sure. I promise I won't come back to gloat either (well, maybe just a little bit?! Please?!!). I'll definitely be back to congratulate you and take my lumps if we lose though. Man....I really can't wait till Sunday. That's the only thing about these "teaser" Thursday games. They get ya all excited for some football, then you have to sit and wait for three more days to really get your fill!

Why would Steeler fans come here?

It's simple. This city has an inferiority complex. After the demise of the steel industry, the Steelers are the only link the city has to past greatness. Also, the Steelers are the historical top dog franchise chasing the current top dog franchise. Same goes with the fans.

The current state of mind for "stiller" fans is that Red Sox fans exhibited toward Yankee fans five years ago.

Contrary to the brain rot from "The Dog", the Patriots are the hated franchise.

Here is a question for you then: Why do pats fans act like their team wins the SB every year when they haven't won in awhile? Here is another: Why do pats fans whine after losses like no other fan base in any sport?

Patriots fans don't whine after losses any more than the fans of most other NFL teams. The team has had some high profile losses involving terrible officiating over the past few seasons, so all the 'whining' appears magnified.

Of course, Sheilas fans were all over the Seahawks for whining after the officials gave Pittsburgh an undeserved Super Bowl victory, so your memory must be blissfully short. Then again, if I were a Sheilas fan, I'd remember all the crying my players have done, and still do, about the team's losses to the Patriots this decade, and I'd (Please be quiet - edited) rather than going to an opponent's message board and trolling the place.

Get back at the Steelers? We could lose are next 5 regular season meetings and it wouldn't be enough retribution to satisfy their fans after what this team has done to them in the playoffs. Shoot, those fans are considering themself fortunate after we imploded against Denver in 05. They didn't want no part.

I base it on what I read here, and other message boards. I base it on local radio (eei). I base it on what I hear from patriot fans personally. There are no bigger cry babies after losses than you people. I kept everything civil, and then got attacked. I come around here once in awhile to read what pat fans have to say. Other than a handful of intelligent posters, the vast majority don't know the difference between a football and a baseball.

So you're a troll AND you're an idiot. Nobody "cries" after losses. Disappointment, sure, because we expect our teams to perform at a high level and win. If you're part of a fan base that just expects your team to roll over and die, or one that doesn't feel disappointed when your team underperforms, then maybe you should just stop watching the sport.

I feel bad for people like you. People with such an inferiority complex that they have to surf other teams' messageboards. It's very sad. I suggest you see a psychiatrist.

The person that needs to see a psychiatrist is you. I don't feel threatened by you, you feel threatened by me. When you fans admit you have a problem then you might start to get over it. To the classy fans on the board: good luck.
