Thanks. I was pretty sure of the result but it is good to have the actual numbers. While past success doesn't guarantee future results, it is likely the Pats still have a little buffer to work with in their playoff chase. The game on Sunday is still huge...

For years now, I've partly kept track of the Pats' playoff chances by counting up to 6 in their "loss buffer"

No offense to the OP or to Bill Burt himself, this article is pretty terrible. I love how using Moss as a decoy is one reason for future success followed by using Moss as a TD machine. I mean, is that not contradictory or what?

I agree. I'd love this team to go all the way, but nothing in that article made me agree that any of those reasons will push them over the top.
