What a piece of work. I would love to see him get his clock cleaned.

Joey Porter was basically rendered absent yesterday and I couldn't be happier. No idea exactly what he did but it's amazing to me that he got away with not leaving the field. No doubt Parcells will take care of it

Porter blows top

Old friend Porter, who ripped the Pats for their videotaping practices and alleged cheating during an interview segment with Keyshawn Johnson yesterday on ESPN’s “NFL Countdown,” was flagged for a pair of unsportsmanlike conduct penalties during the final three minutes.

“That’s just Porter being Porter and not shutting up,” Mankins said. “He kept running his mouth and kept getting warned for it. He finally said some stuff the officials didn’t like.”

He should have been hauled off and made an example of like Singletary had the balls to do.

Like others have said, with Parcells I'd be surprised if that slides.

The Pats seem to have that effect on teams. Remember the Ravens game last year. Throwing the penalty flag into the stands and the ensuing kickoff
from their 40 yard line......

Their 35-yard line, actually; they managed to add a false start penalty to make it even more hilarious.

What does "tried to bench Porter" mean?

Did Porter just refuse to leave the field?

They sent Ray Anderson out to replace him. Porter sent Anderson back to the sidelines. The cameras flashed to Sporano yelling to someone to "come here", but apparently Porter refused.

He was too busy complaining to the refs about an unsportsmanlike penalty. Earlier in the game a ref can be seen telling him to "be quiet" after another Miami penalty. He's not making any friends.
