Did anyone else notice last week during the jets game that our captains weren't wearing the C patch? Has it been that way all season? I haven't noticed I know that we wore them last year. Whats the reason for this? My opinion is that we name captains on a weekly basis but thats just what I think.

Also I was very happy to see that Randy has become a captain

I think there is a rule that only X # of players can wear a C on game day and we have more captains than that # so we don't wear them.

both eagles and pats dont wear them for one reason as above and another they claim they change captains during the season.frankly,pats just dont like to show certain players are special outwardly by wearing a C.

The Patriots have NEVER worn them. They were only introduced into the league in 2007 I believe.

I think there's another team that doesn't wear the as well (San Diego?). I saw them sunday but can't remember for the life of me right now...

Personally I am glad they don't, those things are hideous! The pats know who their captains are, no need to show it on the uniform.

But most of the NFL is all about ME....ME.....ME.

no surprise that Pats are not about putting the few captains above the team.
