Merriweather needs to be 'great' especially with James 'BAD ANGLE' Sanders back there with him. Merriweather might be our most valuable DB. When Hobbs got hurt, Brandon was switched to CB and Spann came in to play safety. THis guy is balling.

Why is sanders playing? I mean, nice guy adn all, but really, he should be special teams only. Special olympics only just about the way he's playing.

Charges were not pressed. I believe Meriweather returned fire, which (again, I believe) is legal in Florida.

If I remember correct it was his friend who got busted the cap in his ass and Merriweather shot his gun in the air to scare off the other shooter.

he didn't want to or try to shoot anyone and again if I remember correct he got rid of the gun after the incident.

A few days ago I tried making a case for new posters being restricted to the PS forum for a bit so that some of the crap doesn't get spread all throughout the forum and into each and every thread.

Your theme-redundant posts are a prime example of what I was talking about.

OH, boo hoo. IT's not theme redundant. IT's just that no one addesses it except for boo-hooers like you. About a year from now you'll come to the same conclusion yourself. I just see things a little bit earlier than most.

maryjane might have gone off a bit too much, but Sanders IS a liability out there. The guy is awful in the open field. We can't have our last line of defense be awful in the open field. BB loves him cause he works hard and I'm sure he does some great things in practice, but from what we've all seen from him during games, he gets caught in 'no mans land' too often and gives up big plays. Play him closer to the line of scrimmage. Give Spann a chance.

I'm very happy with Brandon's play out in the field. He's been an anchor back there this year, and seems to have taken massive strides last off season.

As far as the Sander's situation...yes, he looks pretty bad. I wouldn't mind seeing Lynch paired with Merriweather. I know lynch is slower, but speed isn't an issue in the back field. Taking correct paths to the ball andplay recognition seems to be what ails the pats at times(from a safety point of view) and I think merriweather could help out some of lynch's slowness. Lynch would basically be replacing Harrison.
